Prophetic Social Justice MakingProphetic Social Justice Making calls us to create, with God's help, a loving world that is just for all of creation. It's a phrase that describes the important justice and advocacy work that we are are doing in our faith communities. Our faith. This will look differently in different contexts: a group of Anglicans meeting with their Member of Parliament to express concern about poverty in their community; a community vigil, such as Earth Hour, to raise awareness about a particular justice issue; a petition that calls an organization to change its unjust ways. In all things, we will be known in our neighbourhoods and our world as leaders in the work of justice making by actively living out our faith as we strive to make a difference for all of God's creation.
By 2013, the Diocese of Niagara is recognized by Anglicans and the wider community as a leader in advocacy and justice for all; a faith community that practices what it preaches thus, with God, transforming lives.
