Terrorism in the United States and the World - An Anglican Perspective!

The people of the Diocese of Niagara continue to offer our deepest sympathies and our prayers for the families of the vicitims of the terrorist activities in the United States of America.

At the same time we make it very clear that terrorism and violence against any people is absolutely unacceptable and must be stopped. We also believe that our nations are places where people of any race or religion should take comfort and feel safe.

To our brothers and sisters who are of faiths other than Christianity, we assure you of our support and our ongoing prayers. To those who feel that retaliation against particular religious groups is in order - we say stop - and stop now. We are a people, a nation that believes in human rights, in dignity and in the love our neighbour.

The Diocese of Niagara participated in organizing the interfaith prayer service against hatred and racism in Hamilton. For more details click here.
