Alison
D'Atri is Secretary to the Diocesan
Bishop. As secretary to the bishop, she is responsible in
providing their administrative support. Directed by the bishop,
Alisonprepares documents pertaining to ordinations and other
episcopal appointments. She also provides support to Human
Resources including: interim/transitional
ministries, the appointment process, ordinations and retreats.
Alison is the keeper of the bishop's itinerary, on a daily
and yearly
basis.

The Rev’d Canon Terry DeForest is Vision Advocate and Coordinator for Excellence in Ministry on a half-time basis. Working to assist in animating and promoting engagement with our diocesan vision, Terry supports all diocesan Vision Groups and works particularly with the Outstanding Leadership for Ministry Group. He assists in developing, implementing and reviewing mutual ministry covenants between the Bishop, clergy and lay leaders across the diocese. He coordinates teams of volunteer covenant and transition consultants; facilitates excellence in ministry training; and assists & advises with respect to various human resources policies and practices. The Reverend Bill Mous is the Coordinator of Social Justice. In this role, Bill has responsibility for equipping and animating people and parishes in our diocese to discern and prophetically respond to social justice issues in their neighbourhoods, communities and world. Bill is a point of connection for social justice committees and groups, represents the diocese on partner boards and coalitions, supports Bishop Michael in his advocacy work, implements diocesan social justice initiatives and provides resources and training to parishes. Karen
Nowicki is the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Officer of the diocese. Karen has been with the diocese since August of 1998 and also fulfills the role of Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of Synod, which includes Synod Council and the annual meeting of Synod. She is also the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Stewardship and Financial Development and the Director of Outreach. Stewardship and Financial Development includes the areas of Planned Giving, Narrative Budgeting, Capital Fundraising and the Year Round Stewardship Program. She is the staff support to the Outreach Committee, which includes Partners in Mission, Social Justice, Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund and Refugee Sponsorship. She is the staff support to the Bishop’s Advisory Committee on Church Buildings and the Bishop’s Decennial Inspection Committee. Karen is also the Registrar to the Bishop's Company. The Venerable Michael Patterson serves as Executive officer of
the diocese and in that capacity, he shares with the Bishop
many diocesan responsiblities. He has

John
Rathbone has been the Diocesan Archivist
since 1993. This is a part-time position, as he is retired
from full-time ministry. There is an office at Cathedral
Place and messages can be left on the voice mail. As Archivist,
John is responsible for all parish and diocesan registers
and records, their safekeeping, preservation and access.
Most are now kept at McMaster University, but are readily
accessible as are copies made for parish use. John has been
a priest in Niagara since 1959 and is familiar with all parishes
and their histories. For any help in this regard, please
