Bishop and Dean Participate in
Habitat for Humanity Building Project

Bishop Michael Bird and Dean Peter Wall participated in the Habitat for Humanity Building project in Hamilton this week at the Robert Land site located near Wentworth and Burlington Streets. Habitat is building townhouse units that will provide new homes for eight families under two phases of construction.  Bishop Michael is pleased to support this affordable housing initiative in our diocese and encourages parishes and members of our congregations to get involved with this or other housing projects in your area.  As we approach the upcoming Municipal elections, we all have an opportunity to ask candidates about their understanding of the issues of justice in the community.
