In response to the Bishop’s Pentecost challenge, found in this mailing and published in April’s Niagara Anglican, the evangelism office is offering you a number of resources in support of this endeavour. In this mailing you will find:

• The Bishop’s Challenge letter that you may publish as you see fit.
• Bulletin announcements for use each week leading up to Pentecost
• Hospitality notes and ideas to assist you in making our guests and visitors feel at home.
• Homily and liturgical ideas for use in your sermons.
• Each parish will receive 50 door hanger ‘Invitations’ to be used to advertise this celebration in your neighbourhood. You will receive these at a later date. We are offering 50 just as a start, if you would like more, please feel free to contact me. This is the first time we have attempted such an undertaking, hence we start small. If it is successful, we will provide more for future programs.
• To distribute these door hangers, we suggest that you ask a few parishioners to distribute no more than 4 or 5 each in their neighbourhoods.
• You will have to fill in the parish specific information on the back of each hanger. These can be run through a laser printer and a photocopier.

If you choose to use these resources, I would appreciate any feed back that you might have to assist us in our future programs.
